Product overview
UVShield is Nuvonic’s medium-pressure ultraviolet treatment range for commercial pools, spas, competition pools, aquatic centers, splash pads and waterparks.
Designed for chloramine reduction and control of combined chlorine, the range combines a 316L stainless-steel treatment chamber, automatic sleeve cleaning, variable power control, a dry UV sensor and a 7-inch touchscreen. Manufacturer-published supplemental rated flows range from 110 to 4,300 US gpm at 95% UV transmittance, identified as T10 in the data sheet. Nominal inlet/outlet connections range from 2 to 14 inches. Select a configuration to review its flow, lamp-system power, dimensions, weights and electrical supply options. NSF/ANSI 50: All ten models shown are listed for supplemental disinfection. S6-201 and S8-202 are also listed for secondary disinfection and Cryptosporidium parvum inactivation within their certified operating conditions. Supplemental flow ratings are not secondary-disinfection ratings. Refer to the official NSF listing and Nuvonic’s operating instructions for model-specific requirements. Nuvonic supports project sizing and final selection. UV treatment is used with the required residual disinfectant.
